...according to The Guardian, anyway. Earlier this year the newspaper put out a list of the “greatest literature ever published in English, as voted for by authors, critics and academics worldwide.” It’s a solid list to be sure, but what interested me was the when and where these 100 stories take place, and what sort of patterns emerge there?
